This Policy applies to the Financial Investment Course, Single Consultation, and Annual Consultation you purchase on this website. Please read it carefully before payment. By completing payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Policy.
1. Governing Law and Nature of This Policy
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Hong Kong law does not impose a mandatory statutory cooling-off period or statutory right of return for general online purchases; the refund entitlements set out in this Policy are contractual arrangements offered by this website. Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any right you may have under mandatory provisions of applicable law.
2. Section 1: Financial Investment Course
(a) Before use: You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of payment, provided that you have not logged into the course account, downloaded any course materials, or viewed any course content.
(b) After use begins: Once you log into the course account, download materials, or view any course content, the course is deemed to have commenced and the full-refund arrangement in (a) no longer applies. However, if the course has a material defect, is materially not as described, or cannot be reasonably accessed, you retain any rights available under applicable law.
(c) Course materials are digital content. By checking the Acknowledgement, you confirmed that you understand once you begin using digital course content, you may lose any no-reason refund right, without prejudice to your remedies for defects or misdescription.
3. Section 2: Single Consultation
(a) Before the consultation begins: Cancellation more than 48 hours before the scheduled time entitles you to a full refund; cancellation within 48 hours entitles you to a refund of 50% of the fee paid, or one rescheduling by mutual agreement.
(b) Once the consultation has begun or been completed: No refund is available, except where the consultation could not substantively proceed due to the provider's fault.
4. Section 3: Annual Consultation
(a) Initial cooling arrangement: You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of payment, provided that you have not used any consultation entitlement (no inquiry submitted, no session booked, no substantive response received).
(b) Termination during the service period: After the initial cooling arrangement expires, you may terminate at any time on notice, but fees corresponding to a service period already commenced are non-refundable. The annual fee corresponds to service availability, not a per-use charge; non-use of consultation entitlements is not a basis for pro-rata refund.
(c) Where renewal applies, you may give notice of non-renewal before the next renewal period; fees for the paid period remain subject to (b) above.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email contact@faithinvest.com with your order number, product purchased, and reason for the request. We will complete our review and notify you of the outcome within 14 calendar days of receiving a complete request. Approved refunds will be returned via the original payment method; where that is not feasible, we will discuss a reasonable alternative with you. No additional handling fee is charged on any refund; any foreign-exchange loss or bank charge imposed by your own payment instrument is your responsibility.
6. Relationship with the Acknowledgements
This Policy forms part of the three Service Terms & Risk Acknowledgements. Checking the relevant Acknowledgement on the payment page constitutes confirmation that you have also read and agree to this Policy. If there is any inconsistency between this Policy and an Acknowledgement on refund matters, this Policy prevails, without limiting any right you have under mandatory law.
7. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. This clause does not constitute an exclusive jurisdiction agreement and does not exclude your right under mandatory provisions of applicable law, including the Civil Procedure Law of the People's Republic of China, to seek remedies before the people's court at your domicile or another court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause prevents you from lodging a complaint with a competent consumer protection authority.
